SPINEL
Superexchange Mechanism
By using a superexchange mechanism, the
unpaired spins of metal ions are coupled through shared oxide ions.

THE QUESTION
What Medical Applications?
In ferrite spinels, electron spins at
tetrahedral sites have one orientation, while electron spins at octahedral sites have the
opposite orientation. If the number of spins in these two types of sites is the same, the
spinel is antiferromagnetic. If not, it would be ferromagnetic.
Anti-ferro
magnetic substances show weak magnetism, whereas diamagnetic substances show no magnetism at
all.
Spinel ferrite's structure exhibits exceptional multifunctional properties
such as excellent magnetic properties, a high specific surface area, surface active sites,
high chemical stability, tuneable shape and scale, and functionalization
options.
The inherent properties of CoFe2O4 NPs make them excellent candidates
for biomedical nanotechnology. They are made using various synthesis methods, which affect
their properties. CoFe2O4 NPs and their related applications are highly regarded in
biotechnology and bioengineering.

always been interested in: the gemstones industry. I'm still learning how the market works
on a daily basis, and I enjoy sharing my experience with those who are interested in
learning more about gems in general.
