Okay, let's get this straight! When
you decide to buy a gemstone online, it is usually a tough decision. Even if the stone
appears to be flawless, you may experience trust issues and become reluctant. However, I
believe it is critical to highlight that the same holds true for us!
Let me clarify this last point. When you send us a message such as
"do you have any 3 cts sapphire?" it shows that you are either scanning the
market for an average price estimate or you are NOT a
professional at all. It's as if you walk into a car dealership and ask,
"Do you have any big cars?".
You'll sound funny, which is why I've
put together a list of all the questions you should ask and attach to any message you
send to a gemstone company:
- Quality: Are you looking for
a highly clean emerald or a low-quality one, for example?
-
Color: Be sure to provide the correct color of your stone (pigeon
blood, cobalt blue, royal blue, light blue...). If you're not sure, include a photo of a
comparable stone with your comment! On Google Images, it takes roughly 10 seconds to
find a similar stone.
- Shape: pear-shape, oval, cushion,
etc.
- Treatment: this is critical because the price of a
fine ruby can range from $500 to $2000-3000$ per carat depending on its treatment.
- Price range: Please provide us with your price range.
Again, we will not attempt to mislead you, but this will assist us in identifying the
ideal stone for you.
- Carat weight: give us a carat range
of the stone you are looking for!
